Our actions
Supporting charitable activities of Japanese professional baseball players and teams
We plan, suggest and organize the charitable projects for the players and the teams, and operate them throughout the baseball season or during the off-season.
Serving the community with our own actions related to baseball
Once a year, we hold an online charity auction for helping those impacted by natural disasters. We also support adapted sports such as wheelchair softball, and provide resources to help the disabled become socially independent.

Founder’s Message
Working as a sports writer in Tokyo for more than 10 years, I have recognized the importance of social role performed by the professional athletes, especially when I experienced the case of Boston Strong by Red Sox in 2013. I was very impressed with the power of baseball outside the field, and I strongly felt that we also needed more of this essence in Japanese baseball. Back in Tokyo in 2014, I founded BLF to create the society where more people are saved by the professional baseball players and teams. I hope our actions will make baseball what people need in life.

After graduating from St. Paul University in Tokyo, received marketing diploma of UC Berkeley extension international diploma program in 2002 and experienced internship in the non-profit in San Francisco. Worked as an agent of the professional athletes for 4 years, then as a freelance sports writer for more than 10 years. Founded BLF in 2014. Acquired the license of fundraiser in 2017.
